BOGOTÁ: A SURPRISING AND AMAZING CITY

Bogota, the capital of Colombia is an attractive and multicultural citu, located 2.600 meters above sea level, on the Andes Mountain chain.

Bogota has a splendid cultural and historic heritage, The historic centre, “La Candelaria”, will take you back in time. Its Spanish-style paved roads wander around Colonial and Republican buildings. These are aechitectural treasures of the XVIII and XIX centuries, with their typical large doors and balconies, as well as big entrances and indoor gardens. Many of those buildings have witnessed some of the most important historic events for both the city and the country. A few blocks away, you will find beautiful churches, which have preserved their art and their history. Museums that house Pre – Hispanic treasures and echoes of the colonial period enhance the cultural and sightseeing scene.
